VML y Banco Santander se unen para promover la ciberseguridad en el D?a Internacional de Internet Seguro

Esta campaña tuvo un gran impacto en las ciberestafas que se redujeron hasta un 90% por debajo del promedio mensual y aumentó un 72% el tráfico en la web diseñado para concientizar y prevenir sobre esta problemática

En el marco del Día Internacional de Internet Seguro, VML Uruguay junto al Banco Santander llevaron a cabo una innovadora campaña de concientización sobre ciberseguridad. La iniciativa tuvo como objetivo principal resaltar la importancia de utilizar contraseñas digitales seguras en un mundo cada vez más conectado y dependiente de la tecnología, la cuál obtuvo grandes resultados.

Según un estudio de Deloitte, una persona digitalmente activa maneja en promedio alrededor de 100 contraseñas, lo que aumenta la necesidad de mantenerlas seguras y protegidas contra posibles ataques cibernéticos. Sin embargo, el 91% de las contraseñas en el mundo presentan un alto grado de vulnerabilidad, lo que subraya la urgencia de abordar este tema.

La acción consistió en la intervención de las marquesinas de las sucursales más importantes de Banco Santander en el país charrúa. Mediante un simple cambio, las letras del nombre del Banco fueron reemplazadas por asteriscos, generando un mensaje visual poderoso que destaca la importancia de evitar contraseñas obvias y fáciles de hackear.

Rafael Barthaburu, Chief Creative Officer de VML Uruguay, comentó sobre la iniciativa: "La simpleza de la idea nos permitió transmitir un mensaje contundente sobre la importancia de la ciberseguridad en un mundo digitalizado. Con esta acción, buscamos generar conciencia y motivar a las personas a adoptar prácticas seguras en la gestión de sus contraseñas".
